Shaun Riener |

 Shaun Riener was born in Grangeville and a resident of Cottonwood until age 2. He then moved to Bonners Ferry, ID where he resided until graduating from high school in 1997. He then moved back to Cottonwood and mainly worked in road construction until getting married in 2002. At the time of his marriage, he was already in pursuit of his career as a part-time employee at Blackmer Funeral Home.
In the spring semester of 2003, he started college at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston to begin fulfilling his state required 60 semester hours before becoming an intern and applying to Mortuary College. He was accepted into Mortuary School at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, CO in August 2005 and graduated from there with an Associates of Applied Science degree in June 2006. Later that summer, he passed his National Board and State Law Exams and has been a licensed funeral director/mortician at Blackmer Funeral Home since September 2006. Shaun still lives in Cottonwood with his wife and children. Some of the activities that he enjoys are spending time with his family, and in his spare time hunting, fishing, and trap shooting. |
