Edna May Overman, 92
Edna May Overman, 92, a longtime resident of Grangeville, passed away at the Idaho County Nursing Home on Sunday, January 23, 2005.
She was born near Twin Falls, Idaho on June 11, 1912 to Dora (Ausink) Terpstra and John Terpstra. She married Morris Overman on November 10, 1935 in Beverly Hills, California. He passed away January 3, 1977.
Edna enjoyed children and travel, although she seldom found anything more beautiful than Idaho. She is survived locally by a niece, Rose Rae and husband, Jim, of Grangeville, a great-niece, Kathy Ackerman and family, Bob, Kristen and Alex, of Grangeville, a great-nephew, Ben Rae of Rathdrum and several nieces and nephews living out of state.
At Edna’s request, there will be no memorial service, although anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution may donate to the Idaho Commission for the Blind.
