Ernest J. “Fuzzy” Davis, 78

GRANGEVILLE: Ernest J. “Fuzzy” Davis, 78 of Grangeville passed away Tuesday at Syringa General Hospital in Grangeville.

Fuzzy was born June 20, 1926 at Healdsburg, California and was raised in Greenville, California. He served in the US Navy in the Pacific during WWII. He retired from sawmill work after 40 years in Plumas County, California. He married Mariella Taddie on April 23, 1977 in Greenville. They moved to Grangeville in November of 1990. He worked part time at Miller Hardware in Grangeville and was known as the ‘little guy with the big smile”.

He loved all outdoor activities and was a big football and baseball fan. He loved spending time with his family.

He was a past member of the Eagles, Elks and American Legion.

He leaves a large family, his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of the Blackmer Funeral Home, Grangeville.
