GRANGEVILLE: Loretta M. Johnson, 70, of Grangeville passed away Monday, October 10, 2005 at the Grangeville Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born March 16, 1935 at Yakima, Washington. She attended school in Yakima before moving to Oklahoma. She married Paul L. Johnson on June 6, 1952 at Huntsville, Arkansas. They made their home in Missouri before moving to White Bird in 1956 and then moved to Grangeville in 1967. They were divorced in 1975.
She enjoyed fishing with her grandchildren, making quilts, canning, and going for car rides.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Johnson of Spokane, Washington, and David Johnson of Grangeville, a daughter, Mary Johnson of Grangeville, a brother Dick Martin of White Salmon, Washington and a sister, Genia Erckenbrack of Chehalis, Washington, five grandchildren, Mike and James Johnson of Spokane, Washington, and Chris, Aaron and Nichole Johnson of Grangeville, and three great grandchildren.
