E. Paul Eaton, 68


Paul Eaton, 68, went home to be with his Savior on February 16, 2006, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 20, 1937, to Walter and Artie Eaton in Kingston, Arkansas
On December 28, 1956, he married his high school sweetheart, Betty Jo Davis. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1958. They made their home in Ellensburg, Washington, for 25 years. In 1982 they moved to Grangeville, Idaho where they proudly owned and operated P&R Pump Service in Fenn.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter and lived his life for his grandchildren. He was deeply admired and respected by all who met him and considered a friend by all.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty; daughter, Rebecca Sue Webb and her husband, Tom, of Spokane, Washington; son, E. Paul Eaton, Jr., and fiancée, Johanna Margaret Hauger of Fenn; grandchildren, Michael Patrick Webb of Spokane, Lindsey Elizabeth Eaton of Fenn, Emily Morgan and Samuel Paul Eaton of Selah, Washington; one brother and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father and one brother.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 22, at Blackmer Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Idaho Cemetery.
A better husband, father, grandfather and friend could never be found. We love you and will miss you deeply. We will all be with you in heaven.
