Mary Christine Nichols, 85


GRANGEVILLE: Mary Christine Nichols, 85 passed on in “true Texan style;” tough as nails, with a heart of gold. She was born to Waymon Oscar Hall and Lydia Belle Bandy Hall on May 26, 1920 in Godley, Texas. She died on February 7, 2006 in Grangeville, Idaho.
Mary Christine Hall graduated from Godley High School in the year 1938. She then went on to go to Barber College in Fort Worth, Texas.
On December 24, 1938, she married Lloyd Bentley Rawdon, and had three wonderful children: Lloyd Ann Rawdon Fairchild, Harold Dwaine Rawdon and Glenda Naomi Rawdon. She married Richard D. Nichols in Midvale, Idaho on September 17, 1993.
She was preceded in death by Glenda Naomi, her beloved daughter, and Lloyd Bentley. She is survived by her husband, Richard D. Nichols of Grangeville, Idaho, her two children and son in law, Lloyd Ann and David A Fairchild of Grangeville, Idaho and Harold Dwaine of Ft. Worth, Texas, and her four grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. Her four stepchildren and their spouses: Bill and Susan Harding of Grangeville, Idaho, Doug and Cindy Nichols of Grangeville, Idaho, Dan and Candy Nichols of Caldwell, Idaho, and Greg and Karen Nichols of Caldwell, Idaho. As well as the Nichols’ extended family. All who were fortunate enough to meet and know her will miss her immensely.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 13, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. (Mountain Time) at the Midvale Church of Christ, Midvale, Idaho with burial to follow at Eastside Cemetery, Midvale.
