Geraldine “Jerri” Keller, 80
GRANGEVILLE: Geraldine “Jerri” Keller, 80 of Ferdinand passed away Friday, May 19, 2006 at the Grangeville Health and Rehab. Center in Grangeville.
Jerri was born May 5, 1926 at Culdesac, Idaho a daughter of Fred and Grace Jackson Williams. As a young girl the family moved to Doumecq where she attended school before moving to Kamiah where she graduated from high school. Following her education she lived in Spokane and Culdesac before moving to Elk City where she built the Elkhorn Bar. She later sold the bar and moved to Alaska and Kamiah before moving to Ferdinand where she has lived since.
She loved to hunt, fish and garden.
She was a founding member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 8311 in Elk City.
She is survived by two daughters, Pam Uhlenkott of Fenn and Teresa Bryant of Elk City, a son Bob Mattson of Culdesac, a brother Fred Williams, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and her beloved cat “Salty”. She was preceded in death by her parents and companion Eldon Lockett.
Graveside services will be held Monday, May 22, 2006 at 11:00 at Prairie View Cemetery, Grangeville. Services are under the direction of the Blackmer Funeral Home, Grangeville.
