Edna F. Hewson, 86
GRANGEVILLE: Edna F. Hewson, 86 of Grangeville passed away Wednesday, August 09, 2006 at the Grangeville Health and Rehab. Center.
Edna was born November 9, 1919 at Orofino, Idaho a daughter of Fred and Ada Orr Knutson. She attended school in Orofino graduating from high school there. She Married Donald Fine and they were later divorced. She lived in Stites until 1960 when she moved to Grangeville. She married Ed Hewson and they were later divorced. She worked at Vern’s Grocery, Howard’s IGA and the Depot before retiring in the early 1980’s.
Edna was a long time member of Mitzpah Rebekah Lodge in Grangeville and a member of the Grangeville Senior Citizens. She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, fishing and picking huckleberries.
She is survived by her two daughters, Darlene Cannon of Grangeville and Mary Ellen Sater of Lewiston. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chris Wilson, Scott Crawford, Greg Wilson, Steve Maynard, Staci Crawford, Sherri Purdy, John Maynard, Rhonda Robinson and Travis Tisdall, her brothers, Sheldon Knutson and Lowell Knutson and her sisters, Verl Grasser and Beth Pomerinke. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Elda, daughters, Sandra Crawford and Donna Wilson and grandson Don Crawford.
