C. Raymond Stewart, 88
C. Raymond Stewart, 88, of Ferdinand, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at the Grangeville Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Grangeville, Idaho to Ray and Carrie Stewart on March 7, 1918. He met his wife Maxine Stewart and was married on August 10, 1945. They then moved to California where he worked as a rancher and feed-lot manager.
Raymond is survived by 2 sisters; his daughters, Christine Briscoe of Yakima, Washington and Debbie Wassmuth of Ferdinand, Idaho, three Grandchildren and one Great-Grand Daughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at the White Bird Cemetery in White Bird.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Blackmer Funeral Home in Grangeville.
