Jeffrey P. Wilde, 44

On Oct. 3, 2008, Jeff Wilde went home to live with his Lord & Savior, after his battle with cancer.

Jeff was born in McCall, Idaho January 12, 1964. He spent his childhood there and graduated in 1982. That year he was Idaho State wrestling Champ in the lightweight division.

Jeff was a logger for a good part of his life. He has spent the last three years of his life working at Grangeville Builders Supply where he adored his fellow co-workers.

Jeff loved fishing, hunting, NASCAR, and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed attending football games, wrestling events, gardening, looking for mushrooms, and coaching his children, nephews and friends. He was an animal lover and always had some kind of critter around. He volunteered his time with 4-H and was an accomplished carpenter with custom finish work and he did woodworking. Jeff loved family gatherings and to cook & go camping.

In 1997, he met Yvette Gonzales, the love of his life. They were married December 23, 2003.

Jeff leaves behind his wife, Yvette; children, Tyrell & Jacey Langston, Tara Wilde, Jeffery Bateman, Brittany & Kenneth Wilde and Daniella Wilde; step-father & mother, Allen & Margie Jones; grandparents, Don & Wanda Crisp; siblings, Cindy & Ronnie, Wade & Heather and Darcie Talbott; nephews, Marshall, Ryan, Robert, Zeth, Zach and Brandon; nieces, Leann, Misty, Treeya & Hova and in-laws, Annabelle & Lorenzo Gonzales.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Robert Wilde and Grandpa Wilde.

The Jeff Wilde fund will continue to be open at Wells Fargo in Cottonwood to assist the family with medical cost.

Memorial services were held Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at the Prairie Middle School in Cottonwood.

Services are under the direction of the Blackmer Funeral Home in Grangeville.
