GRANGEVILLE: Beulah Vrieling, 96 of Grangeville went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2012 at the Grangeville Health and Rehabilitation Center. Beulah was born to John and Melissa Gorst, March 30, 1915 in Jenkins, Minnesota. One of eight children. She moved to California in 1935 and married Howard Riek in 1936. They moved to Orofino, Idaho in 1944, they had three children. Robert Riek, Marilyn Krieger and Ronald Riek, who survive her along with their families, in 1973 her husband passed away. She met George Vrieling and they were married March 2, 1976 and lived in Grangeville for 32 years before George passed away on December 14, 2008. She enjoyed fishing, going to church and all of her family’s. When she married George she gained a family of five. They survive her, Helen Walker, Johanna and Orville Biggers, Bertha Arends, John and Jeanette Vrieling and George and Ruth Vrieling and many grandchildren.
A celebration of her life is being held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Blackmer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Orofino. Memorials are suggested to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 371, Grangeville, ID 83530. Send condolences to the family to: Blackmerfuneralhome.com |
