Wilma Wasem, 92
Wilma Wasem, 92, of Grangeville, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2007 at the Grangeville Health and Rehabilitation Center.Wilma Rupe, who was a homemaker, was born July 3, 1915 at Harpster, Idaho, a daughter of Loyd and Murl Shearer Rupe. She married Lloyd Wasem in 1938. They made their home on the farm in Fenn, Idaho and moved to Four Lakes, WA to farm in 1952 and Spokane in 1958. In 1962, they moved to Seattle then to Colorado, Texas, and back to Idaho, residing in Kamiah.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd; children, Arield of Washington, Utah; Dena-Rae Quickstad of Beaverton, OR, and Wayne of Kamiah, ID; sisters, Lorraine Kennedy and Eldene Wasem both of Grangeville, and Sharon Clark of Lafayette, CA; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother.
A graveside service will be held at the Denver Cemetery, on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Services are under the direction of the Blackmer Funeral Home in Grangeville. Send condolences to the family at Blackmerfuneralhome.com.
