Obituary

James (Jim) Edward Daude, passed away suddenly Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the age of 83. Jim was born in Copperas Cove, Texas on July 26, 1939, to Alvin and Lydia Daude.  His spirit and sense of adventure ultimately led the family to relocate to Lucile, Idaho.  Jim loved the outdoors, hunting and being in the mountains. It was here that he became an outfitter and guide, sharing his passion with others in the Gospel Mountains – his sanctuary and home. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.  He will be greatly missed.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Frances Kube and brother Daniel Daude.  Jim is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sallie Daude, daughter Sherri Cereghino and daughter Kim (PJ) Henscheid.  He has 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Services were held privately and Jim was laid to rest in the White Bird Cemetery, White Bird, Idaho. Arrangements were under the direction of the Blackmer Funeral Home in Grangeville, Idaho.
