Obituary

Stanley R. Miller of Craigmont passed away Friday, March 17, 2023. He was 91 years old.

Uncle Stan was born September 20, 1931 at home to Harold and Mildred Miller. He grew up on the family ranch in Westlake, and he attended Pine Grove School, a one-room schoolhouse. He worked various ranching and farming jobs in the area throughout his life. He was drafted into the U.S. Marines. He was a sawmill worker for many years at the mill in Winchester and Channel Lumber Company in Craigmont. 

Uncle Stan is survived by his sister, Cora Lunders of Ruebens; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Uncle Stan was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mildred Miller; sisters, Dawn Miller, June Miller, and Jean Rudolph and her husband, Bud; a brother, Cliff Miller and his wife, Hildie; and a brother in-law, Dell Lunders.

A Graveside service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 23 at the Craigmont Cemetery. A luncheon will be at the American Legion in Craigmont following the service.
